Microfabrication

  • Materials: metals, glasses, wafers, semiconductors, polymers, ceramics, and many others
  • Types of applications: selective ablation, marking, patterning, wafer dicing, drilling, cutting, thin film removal, MPP multi photon polymerization, 3D additive manufacturing, welding
  • Laser beam shape: Gaussian, Bessel, top-hat, multi-beam
  • Positioning: Axes, Galvo scanners, Hybrids
  • Number of axes: 2, 3, 4, 5
  • Scanning speed: up to 200 mm/s for axial movement and up to 5000 mm/s for Galvo scanner
  • Working space: anywhere from 30 x 30 mm to 500 x 500 mm, depending on your needs
  • Other accessories: dust & fume extraction, system vision, working in inert gas environment

Laser Parameters

  • Lasers: diode, DPSS (Diode Pumped Solid State Laser Nd:YAG, Yb:KGW), fiber
  • Wavelength: fundamental (1064 nm, 1030 nm, 1070 nm), second harmonic (SH), third harmonic (TH) and higher
  • Pulse length: CW (continues wave), nanosecond (ns), picosecond (ps) and femtosecond (fs) pulses can be employed, depending on your need
  • Average power: ps up to 80 W, fs – up to 80 W and higher energies for CW system
  • Pulse energy: ps – up to 5 mJ (depending on required repetition rate), fs – up to 2 mJ (depending on required repetition rate)
  • Pulse repetition rate: depends a lot from other parameters, but we can offer laser micromachining systems with repetition rates anywhere from 1 kHz to 1 MHz including operation in burst mode

    Networking

Cluster coordinator is active social partner for policy and financing institutions in Lithuania and abroad, and presents cluster members concise information about topical projects in the area of R&D.

    Consulting

Cluster members receive consulting and guidance on funding opportunities for R&D projects and participation in supporting actions (participation in specialized exhibitions, B2B meetings, business missions).

    Coordination

Organised discussions within the cluster and with partnering institutions, actions and projects, project management and all the simplifications in paperwork – these are the tasks of cluster coordinator.

    Facilitating

Taking ideas onto paper, teamwork with students, and catalyzing ideas into projects, altogether supplying the work-and-control infrastructure: cluster coordinator has extensive DEMOLA experience.

    Added Value

TOOLAS cluster was formed to develop effective infrastructure for R&D activities, create a sustainable value chain and accelerate mutual growth. To make it possible, TOOLAS mainly focuses on:
Joined forces – our members are keen to exchange knowledge, develop joint products, test each other’s technologies, explore new markets together and invest into joint equipment.
Access to network – we facilitate networking and collaboration between our members, partners and other laser micromachining industry stakeholders to generate a greater number of collaboration and business opportunities.
Brand visibility – we spread the news of our members via our website, social networks, communication partners, and represent our members at industry related events.
Specialized information – we share information on industry related events, projects calls, potential partners and clients to save your time.
Project partner – we as project partners add value based on our accumulated experience in projects of laser technology development, digitalization and networking.
