The construction of new R&D facilities is starting soon

Visoriai Information Technology Park  (VITP) – the coordinator of laser micromachining cluster TOOLAS – is getting ready to start the construction of 7000 square meters research center in Visoriai (Vilnius).The construction is planned to kick-off in March 2021 and to be finished by February 2022.

Cluster TOOLAS members Optogama, Ados-TECH, Direct Machining Control and Optonas will have new offices in this building. The building will be equipped with required labs, cleanrooms, production facilities and will strengthen cluster competencies and capabilities.

The center will have its group of innovation experts who will provide consulting and support services for development of digital and technological innovations. It will help to promote digitization processes and implementation of digital innovations in the most important sectors of the Lithuanian economy, as well as contribute to the development of high technologies, thus increasing Lithuania’s competitiveness in EU and world markets.

The VITP – coordinator of cluster TOOLAS – is a center of high-tech business and R&D organizations that has been operating for nineteen years. The aim is to create a favorable infrastructure for the establishment and growth of innovative and technological enterprises, to create preconditions for the development of new technologies and commercialization of scientific results, to create conditions for the integration of technological business, science and studies.
